Manual Video Content

Learning how to drive a manual car is a fantastic experience and will make your life in general so much easier. With LDG you get to fully understand how a manual car works, most importantly the gearbox, which is an integral part of the manual car.

Understanding the correct timing to change your gears up and down i.e. 1st gear when moving off all the way to 5/6 gear when driving at the maximum 70 mph. To understand when accelerating the clutch/clutch pedal is used to change these gears up to match the MPH speed your car is travelling at, again the clutch is used when braking/slowing down your speed. If you do not change gears correctly you will notice your car will struggle to move or stall when to slow or by the engine getting noisier and the rev counter needle getting higher when travelling to fast.

When passing your DVSA driving test in a manual car this will allow you the option to drive either a manual or an automatic cars. This can make your life so much easier when when travelling and requiring hire cars abroad.
